Te Pū'ara

Te Pū'ara Api'i Pōtiki is the only total immersion Cook Islands Māori early childhood centre in Rarotonga. We are kept alive by the people who believe Reo Māori Kūki 'Āirani belongs in every generation.

We do not charge fees that cover our true operating costs. We do not receive government salaries. Some teachers, trustees, and families who built this centre have given years of unpaid work because they believe in what it does for our tamariki 'ānau.

If you are a Cook Islander overseas, a supporter of language revitalisation, or simply someone who believes that children deserve to grow up knowing who they are, your monthly contribution keeps us going.
